Shortly before Christmas, a brutal attack occurred in Marchtrenk, in which an 85-year-old pensioner became the target of a masked perpetrator. According to information from 5min.at, the attacker pushed the woman back to her house. There he captivated her with cable ties and hit her to get cash. Although the pensioner showed him her wallet, the robber was dissatisfied and looked for further hiding places and a safe. Surprisingly, he left the safe, which contained only jewelry.The attack became more scandalous when the perpetrator locked the woman in the toilet after the crime and sprayed the content of two fire extinguishers in the apartment. Fortunately, the pensioner managed to free himself and alert the police. It only suffered minor injuries. The perpetrator, who was masked with a dark storm hood and spoke an Upper Austrian dialect, is about 1.80 meters tall, wearing dark trousers, a jacket and black sneakers, as reported.
