A wave of violence again shakes the Vienna district of favorites. On Tuesday, March 12, 2025, there was a brutal knife attack at Wielandplatz at around 2:00 p.m., in which a 27-year-old was injured. The man suffered a stab wound on the kidney, which luckily was not life -threatening. A 31-year-old acquaintance of the victim tried to intervene in the dispute and suffered minor injuries to the forearm. He was attacked with pepper spray. Both men had to be taken to the hospital, as kosmo.at . The alleged perpetrator, from which it is assumed that he has Syrian descent, is currently fleeting and is being sought by the police.
