Future of work: Event series on psychology in new worlds
Dietrichgasse 25, 1030 Wien, Österreich - On November 13, 2025, the professional association of Austrian psychologists (Böp) invites you to the event "Working Worlds in Change - Psychology as a Compass", which will take place from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. in the ÖAP seminar center in Vienna or online. This event aims to discuss the effects of digitization, flexible work models, globalization and new forms of cooperation on employees and organizations. The President of the Böp, A.O. Univ.-Prof.in Dr.in Beate Wimmer-Puchinger, will keep the opening speech and experts like Prof. Dr. Conny Herbert Antoni, Mag.a Christina M. Beran and Ing. Mag. Dr. Gerhard Klicka will participate.

flexible working hours are becoming increasingly important in today's working world. Studies show that different working hours offer numerous advantages for both employees and companies. According to gm-personalberatung.de Satisfaction, motivation and performance of the workforce increase through these models. In addition, flexible working time models lead to less absenteeism and improved work results in the long term.
The most common flexible working hours include flexitime, part -time, trust working hours, annual working hours, team -oriented working hours and home office. The home office in particular has become more important in recent years, especially since pandemic, since it offers employees a wide range of advantages, such as higher satisfaction and better reconciliation of work and family. The change through new work
The transformation of the world of work is promoted by various trends such as home office, hybrid working models and desk sharing. A survey shows that 94% of employers classify productivity in the home office as equivalent or higher, which makes it clear that mobile work is becoming increasingly the norm. Especially in recent years, studies on New Work and the various working models have set new impulses and show how important it is to adapt to flexible framework conditions.
A comprehensive knowledge is that the multitude of possibilities of how working time and location can be designed flexibly, not only for companies, but also for employees when it comes to quality of life and productivity. Organizations that seriously implement these models can not only increase the satisfaction of their employees, but also increase their attractiveness as an employer.
