A complete success: 25th mat handball tournament delights Feldkircher Kinder

A few days ago, the handball club Sparkasse BW Feldkirch experienced a special event: the 25th Mattenhandball tournament for the Feldkirch elementary schools. This tournament has now established itself as an integral part of the annual calendar and brought together over 150 children from various elementary schools who presented their skills in around 40 exciting games.

Preparations for this competition began weeks in advance when the youth coaches of the individual schools trained the young talents for the big day. With a lot of enthusiasm, team spirit and a good dose of fun, the children showed their talent in handball. Supported by a cheering amount of parents, friends and supporters, the athletes went to the field with full dedication to fight for the balls in a fair sports spirit, always a smile on their lips.

awards and memories

Every child received a great gift in recognition of their efforts, enabled by the generous support of sponsors such as the Sparkasse, McDonald’s and the Chamber of Labor. A special highlight during the event was the photo box, which caused radiant faces and unforgettable memories.

The price distribution of the tournament was another highlight in which Mayor Manfred Rädler was personally present. He paid homage to the children for their sporting achievements and paid tribute to the handball club's commitment, which made this event possible. The positive atmosphere and the cohesion among the participants impressively showed how important such sporting events are for the community and how they help promote enthusiasm for handball.

In view of the great organization and the positive response to the tournament, one can say with certainty that the tradition of the mat handball tournament in Feldkirch will continue for a long time. As reported at www.vol.at, it remains to be seen which new talent will be aware of next year.
