FH Kufstein Tirol: New master's degree programs for the future from 2025/26

The Kufstein Tirol University of Applied Sciences is planning to expand its training offerings for the coming winter semester 2025/26. However, these changes are subject to receiving approval from AQ Austria. From autumn next year, three new or revised master's programs will be available in full-time study and in English.

The new programs includeEnergy & Sustainability Management,Data Science & Intelligent AnalyticsandSmart Products & AI-driven Development. A special feature of these courses are the multi-day study trips and practice-oriented projects that are carried out in cooperation with (inter)national companies. This offers students not only theoretical knowledge, but also valuable practical experience.

Education for the future

“The four-semester master’s programs aim to train our students to become specialists in their respective fields,” said Prof. (FH) Dr. Thomas Madritsch, Managing Director of the FH Kufstein Tirol. "With our expanded study options, we equip our students with the skills they need to actively shape technological and social changes. By offering English-language courses, we would like to appeal to even more international students who enrich our student body with their perspectives and experiences."

This initiative aims to not only improve academic education, but also to give students the tools they need to succeed in a rapidly changing work environment. At a time when global challenges such as climate change and digitalization are at the forefront, training in these areas is becoming increasingly important.

The FH Kufstein Tirol is thus positioning itself as an attractive place to study for future specialists in key industries and could thus play a decisive role in training the next generation of specialists.
