In Voitsberg, the “Timeout” youth center has been an important meeting point for children and young people for four years. The youth center has received a special award due to its high proportion of female and divers defined visitors. This is a significant increase compared to the 10 percent that were achieved in 2023. "Our success is based on continuously expanding the offer together with the young people," notes the deputy managing director Elke Maurer. The positive feedback from the young people about the existing offers shows that the concept works. The central location on Voitsberger Hauptplatz also supports accessibility for many users.
