The weather in Styria will be friendlier next Wednesday. Temperatures will rise slightly and highs of up to 20 degrees are possible. According to the experts at GeoSphere Austria, thick fog will remain over most lowlands all day long. This is expected to stay at around 1800 meters and occasionally lead to light drizzle.

The best chances of longer sunny periods are north of the main Alpine ridge, where a light southern foehn could cause looser or even slightly cloudy conditions. Some brightening is also possible in the southeast during the afternoon. Away from the foehn areas it will be rather light windy.

The temperatures reach between 14 degrees and 20 degrees, depending on the sunlight and the influence of the hairdryer. It is recommended to prepare for changeable conditions and dress accordingly.
