Stallhof Christmas market: Experience handicrafts and a festive atmosphere
Last weekend the Christmas market took place for the third time in the Stallhof festival hall, an event that has now become a tradition in the region. Organized by Christina Sebl and Monika Kumpitsch, 45 exhibitors offered an impressive variety of handcrafted goods, intended either as gifts directly under the Christmas tree or simply for the delight of shoppers.
Visitors to the event were able to stroll around the lovingly decorated stands and admire the handcrafted exhibits. The selection ranged from wooden and ceramic items to glassware and fabric products. Organizers Sebl and Kumpitsch emphasized that most of the pieces were lovingly handcrafted, which further underlined the charm and uniqueness of each product. The team led by the organizers provided the culinary catering. In a kiosk in front of the festival hall there were delicacies that rounded off the Christmas atmosphere.
Activities for the whole family
A special highlight was the opportunity for children to become active themselves. Natalie Schwarz offered the creative technique of marbling at her stand. The little ones were able to decorate Styrofoam figures with bright colors and take their works of art home with them. In addition, Stephan Eberhardt presented his products, which are manufactured using precise laser technology from materials such as wood, glass and stainless steel. Exhibiting delicate stars, lanterns and bottle bags, he explained that the designs were key to the beauty of his work.
Another fascinating stand was that of Gabriele Eibl, who created candles filled with pressed flowers and creative packaging made from music paper. Her works of art had a special appeal and demonstrated how versatile simple materials can be. Brigitte and Robert Blumrich were active in the field of textile art, producing lucky charms, pillows and unique scented candles under the name “Nähwerk”. To support the festive atmosphere, Robert accompanied his stand presentation with trumpet playing, creating Christmas sounds.
This lovingly organized event shows how local craftsmanship and community spirit can quietly blossom even in the hectic run-up to Christmas. The Christmas market in the Stallhof festival hall was not only a place for shopping, but also a meeting place for many to immerse themselves in the festive atmosphere and support regional talent.
