Protests in Serbia escalate: President Vucic warns of consequences!

In several Serbian cities there are currently massive protests against corruption and mismanagement. These demonstrations carry the motto "Serbia cannot be calmed down" and have gained intensity, especially in Valjevo, where the situation is escalating. Demonstrators attacked party offices of the ruling Serbian Progress Party (SNS), as well as the city administration, the court and the public prosecutor. These protests are a direct reaction to reports on police violence in an earlier demonstration that shaken confidence in the law enforcement officers.

The situation in Valjevo escalated when hooded men entered the SNS party office and devastated the entrances to the public prosecutor and the city administration. In addition, smaller fires in the SNS rooms were laid by torches and pyrotechnics, so that the fire brigade had to intervene at short notice.
