HAK Lambach triumphs at the Voest Sales Challenge 2024

A remarkable success will be celebrated on October 1, 2024, when the HAK Lambach team triumphs at this year's “HAK Challenge - HAK meets voestalpine” in the Linz Raiffeisen Arena. The team, which boldly calls itself “Nerves of Steel”, not only secured first place with 130 points, but also clearly prevailed against 17 competing teams from business academies from all over Upper Austria.

This sales challenge took place for the fifth time and challenged the students with a series of challenging tasks. Not only were key business figures calculated, but sales negotiations also took place. In addition, the participants had to present a self-developed product concept, which required a variety of teamwork skills and individual commitment. In the end, the students from HAK Lambach not only demonstrated creativity, but also a professional approach with remarkable commitment.

The importance of training

“I am very proud of our winning team at the Voestalpine Sales Challenge 2024. This shows once again how well the students are trained at HAK Lambach and how professionally our teachers prepare them for their future professional lives,” says the director, Mag. Stefan Leitner, with pride. This success makes it clear that school size is not the sole indicator of quality in education. Rather, the students benefit from the family atmosphere and individual support that prevail at HAK Lambach.

The winning team, consisting of Lisa Lugmair, Jastin Lup, Hannah Oberndorfer, Leonie Pumpfer, Manuel Speigner and Kimberley Zottl, impressively embodies that the graduates are excellently prepared for the challenges of professional life.
