Entrepreneurs in the Zwettl district: relief is urgently needed!
Entrepreneurs in the Zwettl district are currently exposed to enormous bureaucratic and financial pressure. These challenges are not only felt locally, but also affect entire companies in Austria. WKNÖ President Wolfgang Ecker and district office chairwoman Anne Blauensteiner emphasize the urgency of relief in a joint appeal. “Our entrepreneurs are under a lot of pressure – they urgently need to be relieved!” says Ecker.
The affected companies spend a significant amount of their time on bureaucratic tasks, which has a negative impact on their competitiveness. According to Blauensteiner, entrepreneurs spend on average more than one day per week on administrative tasks alone. They are therefore calling for a rethink in politics in order to improve the framework conditions for the economy.
Bureaucracy and cost burden
The high additional wage costs and the increasing bureaucratic effort put additional strain on companies. Ecker states: "A strong economy requires the right framework conditions. And there is still a lot of room for improvement here." Entrepreneurs are demanding a reduction in bureaucracy so that they can use more time for their actual work.
Blauensteiner adds that these topics are not just empty phrases, but represent real challenges that entrepreneurs face every day. They appeal to the responsibility of political decision-makers to take the current circumstances into account and bring about necessary changes. These demands are not only important for the businesses in the district, but could have far-reaching effects on the entire economic landscape of Austria if the concerns are heard.
