Christmas campaign: Help for families in need - this is how you can support!

The Andorf aid organization ORA International starts again to give families in needy families in countries such as Ghana, Nigeria, Haiti, Ukraine, Romania, Albania and Syria. At a time when food prices have risen considerably, it becomes impossible for many people to obtain the staples themselves, let alone think of gifts or festive meals.

In order to counteract the need, the population is called for support. With this campaign, as many families as possible and older people should receive a filled food package for Christmas. ORA therefore asks for donations and has created two options for participation: donating money or direct food donations.

Support from donations and packages

The first option is to transfer money to the Ora International donation account (AT88 4480 0371 5539 0000) and to specify the “LM package” use. A donation of 25 euros makes it possible to fill a food package in the respective project country. The second option is the self -packing of a food package. This package should contain the following foods: five kilograms of flour, three kilograms of pasta, two kilograms of sugar, two kilograms of rice, one kilogram of margarine and one liter of food oil. Additional aids such as soap, hair shampoo, toothbrushes, washing powder, sweets for children, salt and meat cannons are also welcome.

To deal with the logistical challenge of the transport of the packages packed in Austria, ORA asks for a small support of three euros per package.
