New company membership at the Red Cross Ried: Doing good together!
Ried is offering a new opportunity for businesses to support the Red Cross community. Companies can now become members and benefit from various advantages. This was announced by Christian Dobler-Strehle, the district manager of the Red Cross Ried. This initiative is a first in Upper Austria, and Ried acts as a pilot location for this project.
"With this corporate membership, we are creating a solid basis for the sustainable financing of our diverse tasks. Even as the largest aid organization in the country, we have to overcome numerous challenges every day," explains Dobler-Strehle. Membership provides valuable support and shows how important cohesion among companies is. He believes that a lot can be achieved together.
Membership Benefits
For an annual fee of 360 euros, companies receive various offers. This includes:
- Aufkleber für den Firmensitz
- Präsenz auf dem Infomonitor der nahegelegenen Ortsstelle (mit Logo)
- Teilnahme an Veranstaltungen der Ortsstelle in der Nähe
- Erwähnung im Newsletter, der an alle Mitarbeiter:innen im Bezirk geschickt wird
- Zwei kostenlose Erste-Hilfe-Kursplätze pro Jahr für Mitarbeiter der Firma
For 720 euros per year, the package includes the services mentioned as well as four free first aid course places per year for employees. Membership remains valid until revoked and can be easily paid via SEPA direct debit, online or payment order.
A first example of the success of this initiative is Reiter Innviertler Fleischwaren KG, which has already taken out membership. Managing director Simone Messner emphasizes the importance of this partnership: "As a company, we would like to assume part of our social responsibility and support the humanitarian work of the Red Cross. Together we can achieve more than any company could on its own."
