Nevertheless, her service also has his challenges: her longest vacation has only been 16 days in the past 29 years, which she says with a touch of pride, because "Thank God my family is behind me". Her bond with the club is so strong that she goes to the stadium at all home games and only does not go away.

At the beginning of every month, she has a quasi attendance, because then the salary transfers are pending. Here she has set itself the task of ensuring that every player receives his money on time. This is more complex in football than in many other companies because the salaries are variable and depend on many factors. Mitterhofer admits that in 29 years she has always ensured that the salaries were paid in good time.

Important licenses and balance sheets

Another area in which Mitterhofer is significantly involved affects the licensing of the association. It is responsible for the creation of two important balance sheets a year and must put together the necessary documents for the license applications. These documents include the annual financial statements, the budget and the comparison of the past, the current and the coming season - and all for both the first and the second division.

The deadline for submitting the license documents for the 2025/26 season is closer; It must be submitted by the beginning of March 2025, although at that time it is unclear in which league the SV Ried will play. "You have to be courageous," warns Mitterhofer and alludes to the many variables that have to flow into the calculations, including points premiums. The responsibility of reporting to the board of the actual figures and the possible scenario lies with her. Ultimately, the decision is the responsibility of the board, which must determine the basic framework.
