LCAV Jodl Packaging shines despite failures in cross-country championships

At the Austrian cross -country championships in Tulln, the LCAV Jodl Packaging performed impressive services despite some illness -related failures. Particularly noteworthy are the success of the team, which returned home with two gold medals and a bronze medal.

The expectations were not too high due to the lack of medal hopes, Lisa Oberndorfer and Linus Wagner, but the route in Tulln turned out to be more demanding than initially assumed. A steep climb was an additional challenge. Nevertheless, the young athletes of the LCAV were able to convince. "Our U16 class team was unbeatable," said Martina Bruneder-Winter, the sporting director, pleased with the closed team performance. Wilma Humer, Elena Schindlauer and Lauren Lukas took place ten, eleven and thirteen and thus achieved the gold medal for their team.

Successful individual and team services

In the U14 class, Lilly Schweitzer impressed, who was the youngest in her age group to take 14th place. It is noteworthy that she can start in this class for two years. Together with her teammates Marie Fischer and Magdalena Gneiss, she secured eighth place in the team classification. Emil Roither, who showed himself as a talent in the U14 category, also took a considerable position with 20th place, although he was one of the youngest in competition.

Another highlight was the achievements of the LCAV Masters athletes. Andrea Zirknitzer won the gold medal in the W65 age group, while Joe Dißlbacher secured third place in the M55 category and thus won bronze. "Our Masters are always reliable and show reliable services at the championships," commented Bruneder-Winter, the successes of their older athletes.

The results of the Austrian Championships impressively demonstrate the commitment and training performance of the athletes, and the successes of the LCAV set a positive accent on the association work.
