Creative Advent afternoon: Make your own wreath in Spallerhof
On Saturday, November 30th, a special campaign will take place in the Kinderfreunde House at Einfaltstraße 8, which is aimed at all creative minds in the region. The Children's Freunde local group Spallerhof/Neue Welt invites the community to its Advent wreath campaign. From 1 p.m. to 5 p.m., the participants, new and experienced, can design their own advent wreaths in a Christmas atmosphere. This is a great way to get in the mood for the contemplative time of the year.
The event not only offers the chance for creative work, but also the opportunity to exchange ideas with others. Under expert guidance, adults can use the materials to create their very individual advent wreath. For those who are in a hurry or don't want to tinker themselves, the local group has already provided fully bound wreaths. These can be decorated or bought completely after the personal preferences.
Prices and proceeds
The costs for a self -designed wreath amount to 30 euros, while a wreath that has already been decorated is available for 35 euros. The entire proceeds of this campaign are used to support children's projects of the local group. The participants not only contribute to their own Christmas mood, but also to promote valuable initiatives for children in the region.
Romana Philipp, the chairwoman of the Children's Friends local group Spallerhof/Neue Welt, emphasizes the importance of this campaign: "In the hectic pre-Christmas period, we want to create a space to pause and create something beautiful together. Our Advent wreath campaign brings people together and lets young and old feel what the Advent season is all about - namely community, creativity and joy in being together. Anyone who already knows our campaign knows that real works of art are created here."
