LASK signs Rapid star Lang and Czech U21 player Danek!

The LASK has committed two new offensive players to further increase their squad quality! Christoph Lang moves from SK Rapid Linz to Upper Austria and signs a contract until May 2027. After a less prompt year at Rapid, in which he only played 15 competitive games, the 23-year-old is aiming for a new challenge under coach Markus Schopp. "I look forward to the cooperation and to support the team," said Lang, who scored a total of 31 games and five goals in Hütteldorf.

The 22-year-old Krystof Danek also strengthens the LASK. The Czech comes on a loan from Sparta Prague and will play until the end of the season, while LASK secured a purchase option for it. Danek, current U21 international in Czech Republic, had 15 missions for his club this season, including three games in the UEFA Champions League. Trainer Schopp is optimistic: "Christoph Lang and Krystof Danek are two important building blocks for our squad. Both bring a lot of risk and help us to act more flexibly in the attack," says Schopp, who includes Danek as a game type in his tactical considerations.

The obligations on the deadline day make it clear that the LASK is determined to remain competitive in the league, as well as Transfermarkt.de reported. With the latest transfers, the LASK not only gets a fresh air on the square, but also relies on the international experience of the two players to achieve their goals in the current season.
