Karlinger Kulturverein is planning a new meeting place for young and old

Hartkirchen. Planting the Karlinger Kulturverein plans to transform the existing playground in the western housing estate of Karling into an exciting meeting place. The “moves” project is intended to create a place for movement, communication, fun and fun. This project is considered an important step to improve the quality of life in the region and to promote encounters between the residents.

The area includes an area of ​​2,150 square meters that are divided into different zones, including a mini area, two encounter zones, an adventure zone and a sports zone. In addition to the existing fruit trees, the creation of a snack garden with berry bushes is planned. The Karlinger Kulturverein has estimated an amount of 100,000 euros for the financing of this project, which it largely wants to raise itself. This is done through donations as well as through events and actions that the association organized.

The project has already received the positive assessment of the LEADER selection committee. Now the cultural association is waiting for the promise from the state for funding that would cover 60 percent of the costs. Without this support, the implementation of the project will be difficult. The remaining amount of 40,000 euros must be applied from the association's own funds. "I congratulate the Karlinger Kulturverein for its initiative at the planned meeting place. Such projects show how committed clubs can actively help shape the quality of life in our region. The regional development association supports and welcomes this project and wishes the cultural association every success in implementing," explained Mario Hermüller, chairman of Regef and mayor of Pipping (ÖVP).

For all interested and residents, the cultural association will present more information about the plans at the fourth “Karlinger Glühstandl” on Sunday, December 1st. The event begins at 2 p.m. with the Rathmayr family in the Schmankerl Hofladen in Karling 36. In addition to the presentation, a varied children's program and a raffle are planned to better find out more about the project and spend a nice afternoon together.
