The pre -sale runs until October 31, 2025 and offers attractive prices for winter sports enthusiasts.
Families particularly benefit this year. Pass-ups with the adult passport, which costs 410 euros, can ski for free under 11 years of age. If two adult passes are bought, all children under the age of 16 can also use the slopes without additional costs. Children's passes that are available under the family bonus cost 165 euros, with the exception of the "mini passes" for children under the age of six, which are available unlimitated.
Winter care in the ski areas
The Lower Austrian Berger experience pass enables access to ten different ski areas, including the Annaberger Lifen, the family ski area of Maiszinken and the Hochkar Bergbahnen. The start of the season is scheduled for December 5, 2025, while the ski season ranges until April 6, 2026 with a total of 123 working days. In the winter of 2024, 9,695 passes were issued, which led to over 102,810 visitors in the participating ski areas. Governor Johanna Mikl-Leitner described the project as a "real success project".
The ticket price also includes special activities such as night skiing in selected ski areas and ski tours, which also enriches the offer for passionate winter sports enthusiasts. In addition, the prices are quite cheap compared to the pre-sale period in November, where the adult passport for 480 euros and children's passes for 225 euros are available.
A winter sports season with perspectives
The Alpine region remains the central area for winter sports fun worldwide. According to current statistics, around 16 percent of winter sports enthusiasts come from the Alps, and around 40 percent of all winter sports activities take place there. This illustrates how important the winter sports season is for the region and its ski areas. The multitude of lifts underlines this meaning, because more than a third of all ski areas are located in the Alps.
In addition to the Lower Austrian Berger experience pass, ski enthusiasts in the entire Alpine region find a variety of ways to live out their passion, and especially the families are addressed and supported by the numerous offers this season.
