Traffic chaos in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid: B56 renovation causes disruptions!

Neunkirchen-Seelscheid experienced a massive traffic overhaul this week! The Strassen.NRW Rhine-Berg regional branch has started the renovation of the road surface of the B56 (Zeithstraße) between Pohlhausen and Heister. But that wasn't everything - traffic routing at the important B507/B56 intersection was also affected, which led to some dramatic traffic disruptions on Wednesday (October 30th). Motorists were left frustrated as they were stuck in traffic and struggled through the chaotic conditions.

A team from the construction department was quickly on site to analyze the critical situation. Immediate measures to optimize traffic flow were decided and successfully implemented. There was already a relief on Thursday morning (October 31st): the lane closures at the intersection were completely lifted! The mobile construction site traffic light was taken out of service and traffic can now flow unhindered again. But that's not all! In order to further relieve pressure on the diversion route at the Wahnbachtalstrasse (L189)/B507 connection, a new traffic light system will soon be installed. These measures promise to significantly improve the traffic situation and provide drivers in Neunkirchen-Seelscheid with a more relaxing journey.
