Mauthausen, Österreich - The socialist youth in the Melk district has dared to start a new start in the past few days and chose a new board. The 21-year-old Dennis Gavrau from Mank will now act as chairman and demands that young people find a place of political encounter to develop a positive perspective in a time full of negative news. "Nowadays it can be quite difficult for young people to have a positive future perspective when one horror message follows the other. Therefore, it is all the more important to create a place where young people from all situations meet politically," says Gavrau, like Noen reported.

In addition, the members of the socialist youth were involved in the liberation celebration of the former Mauthausen concentration camp, in which around 250 young people took part, including a delegation from the Mostviertel. Melanie Zvonik, the chairwoman of the socialist youth of Lower Austria, emphasizes the importance of inspiring young people from rural regions for political actionism. There are often hardly any youth cultural offers in smaller places, so that the SJ plans to organize events across the board in order to achieve these young people. At the liberation celebration, the members showed their activism by holding up a total of 59 signs with "individual cases" of the FPÖ, as
