Students get involved: Successful social action in Horn
The students of PTS Horn took part in this year's social campaign with a lot of commitment and a strong community spirit. During two intensive days, they offered their help not only at school, but also at various locations. The team set out to become active in facilities such as the Horn campus, the St. Bernhard football field and the Caritas Horn.
The actions covered a wide range of activities. The students helped pave paths, supported winterization and repaired flood damage by shoveling mud. In addition, creative nail pictures were made, flea market goods were sorted and transported, and time was also spent with the residents of the Eggenburg care and support center. This diversity of activities illustrates the charitable approach of the campaign.
A complete success and a special experience
The social action was not only effective, but also represented a valuable experience for the young people. There was a special highlight: the overnight stay at the school, which gave the participants the opportunity to get to know each other even better and strengthen the community. This form of active participation not only promoted the students' sense of responsibility, but also cohesion within the group.
This initiative shows how important it is to bring young people closer to commitment and social responsibility. The students put their energy and creativity into the service of the community, which is very much appreciated in the Horn region. It remains to be seen which other positive effects of this commitment will have and whether it can serve as a model for future actions.
