An impressive music school concert took place in the multi-purpose hall in Waldhausen, where a total of 117 musicians performed. The event opened with the moving piece “Minuet” by Georg Philipp Telemann, conducted by conductor Stefan Grübl. The atmosphere was electric when Alexander Kastner, the director of the Waldviertel-Mitte regional music school, warmly welcomed the numerous guests who had come. Among those present were the mayor of Waldhausen, Christian Seper, and his deputy mayor Franz Strabler, as well as the mayor of Schweiggers, Josef Schaden, and the two district bandmasters Stefan Grübl from Gmünd and Josef Weber from Zwettl, as well NOEN reported.
The big performance, which showcased the talents of many young musicians, was received with great enthusiasm by the audience. The performances were not only musical but also emotionally moving, making the event an unforgettable experience. Such concerts not only promote musical skills, but also create significant moments of communal celebration in the region. The 40-year history of the DJK Thanndorf was honored, which was also integrated into the celebrations is documented in the commemorative publication.
