New team, new destinations: Uttc Kennelbach strives for semi -finals!

Next Sunday, September 13, 2025, UttC Raiffeisen Kennelbach will start the new season of the 1st table tennis Bundesliga with a home game against Innsbruck. Vol.at reports that this start marks the beginning of a new era for the club. After a disappointing sixth place in the previous year, the squad was renewed, and the team is now pursuing the goal of moving into the semi -finals for the first time.

The changes in the team are significant, with only Simon Pfeffer remained as a fixed point. Samuel Novota ended his professional career to get into his parents' petrol station. Miro Sklensky, on the other hand, left the club after 13 years. President Arno Schuchter emphasizes the upheaval and ambitions of the new, younger team.

The new squad

20-year-old Tomas Martinko and 31-year-old Michal Benes are new to the team.
