The Innovation Park Bergedorf
The Innovation Park Bergedorf is one of four innovation parks in Hamburg, in which other companies also develop new technologies in addition to Körber. The park will focus on the following thematic focus: wind energy, 3D laser technology, energy storage as well as optical technologies and network integration. The aim of the concept is the development of an innovative, mixed district, which integrates social and cultural institutions as well as gastronomy, sports and leisure use.
In order to promote local recreation, parks are planned. These are located between the Curslacker Neue Deich in the west and the federal highway A 25 in the south, whereby the northern border is formed from the Bergedorf-Geesthacht railway line. In addition, urban planning barriers such as main traffic streets and train lines are to be broken down in order to improve networking with adjacent districts.
The Hie Hamburg Invest Development Society MBH & Co. KG acts as a area owner and project developer, while renowned planning offices such as Hosoya Schaefer Architects from Zurich and EGL Development and design of Landscape GmbH from Hamburg are entrusted with the planning. The function plan is based on the Urbanes Bergedorf-Südost framework plan and was presented to the political committees in January 2023.
A future -oriented usage concept, known as District+, provides for a mixed offer that includes some social institutions, daycare centers and cultural offers. Here, motorized private transport is minimized and attractive open spaces are created.
The development of the area should take place via Marschlandstrasse in the south. Several multifunctional mobility centers for dormant traffic are also planned. Citizens will also be able to take part in foot and bike traffic via the so-called Lifeline, which runs independently of motorized traffic. Flexibility in building typologies is planned to store office buildings to high -rise buildings with heights of 10 to 14
Overall, the innovation park Bergedorf provides for the creation of open spaces in four typologies: intensely usable parks, natural parks, urban freedom and green building facades as well as roofs. In addition, allotments on the area are to be redeveloped on replacement areas south of the Rothenhauschaussee. The district assembly has already approved the Bergedorf 99 development plan procedure for the western area of the innovation park, and the construction preparations are planned for 2024
