Media Award 2025: Austria's best campaigns in focus!
On September 2, 2025, the prestigious Media Award will be awarded for the 21st time in order to honor outstanding achievements in the media industry. Loud medianet A total of 73 works were submitted this year, which represents an increase of about 10% compared to the previous year.
A pre-selection has set 25 campaigns in the categories "Excellent Media Strategy", "Excellent Media Innovation", "Excellent Data Use" and "Excellent Sustainability in Media" on the shortlists. A new special category entitled "100% Austria" is awarded for the first time and is characterized by campaigns that have been fully implemented for Austria in Austria.
The motto and the importance of the award
The Media Award, which was launched in 2004, has established itself as a central award for Media Exellence in Austria. This year's motto "Facts instead of fakes - media quality from Austria" reflects the growing importance of the award in an increasingly digital world. The overall winner is awarded the title "Agency of the Year", which is awarded on the basis of the shortlist placements and individual awards. Available historical winners include Wavemaker (2024), Mediaplus Austria (2023 and 2022) and Mindshare (2021).
Venue and guests
The award ceremony takes place in the renowned Leopoldmuseum, followed by a reception in the "Libelle", the museum's roof restaurant.
