Kleinheisler leaves GAK: Decision causes excitement!

Graz, Österreich - The GAK will have to prepare for the Hungarian international Laszlo Kleinheisler next season. Sports director Didi Elsneg announced today that no agreement could be reached about an extension of the contract. Kleinheisler, who only came to the GAK in winter, will no longer be used for the Graz after he was mostly only used as a joker player. According to Elsneg, the departure of Kleinheisler is now officially and the club will look for new options. Kleinheisler had no significant game practice in his previous club Panathinaikos, which made it easier to switch to the GAK.

The triple EM participant and 52-time team player, who already has stations at clubs such as Werder Bremen and Darmstadt in his career as well as more than 130 games for Osijek, is no longer held by the GAK. Elsneg describes Kleinheisler as a "positive type" and "Crazy Guy", while coach Rene Poms is positive about his experiences with the player. Kleinheisler was used both in the center and hanging in the top and is valued for its robustness and offensive quality.

further departures and possible transfers

In addition to Kleinheisler, Antonio Tikvic, a loan player from Watford, could also leave the GAK. Elsneg shows that Tikvic tends towards the finish. The GAK has already officially submitted Michael Lang zu Kapfenberg and Gabriel Zirngast, whose loan contract with LASK was dissolved.

In the current transfer period, a contract extension for Lukas Graf is conceivable. Elsneg also shows optimism with regard to a possible renewed loan of the Talent Nico Cipot from Spezia. Cipot is currently in use at the U21 European Championship and could do valuable services to the GAK next season.

With his birthday on Tuesday, the age of 35, Elsneg not only made new decisions for the coming season, but also faces the challenge of further strengthening his team. In the meantime, the GAK must make sure that no important newcomers are necessary, unless something surprising happens.
