Julian Fässler: New WKV director for Vorarlberg from 2026!
Dornbirn, Österreich - Julian Fässler will be the new director of the Vorarlberg (WKV) Chamber of Commerce from January 1, 2026. He follows Christoph Jenny, who takes over the management of the WiFi Vorarlberg. However, Fässler joined the WKV on July 21, 2025, initially as deputy director of the economic policy department. This was announced on October 12, 2023 and the decision marked a significant change in the leadership of the chamber.
Fässler brings extensive experience from different areas. Previously, he was the headquarters of the Alpla headquarters in Hard, where he was responsible for human resources, vocational training, facility management, logistics, purchasing and mobility management. In this role he led a team of around 160 employees and thus gained valuable experience in personnel and organizational development.

In addition to his economic expertise, Fässler can also look back on a considerable political career. He was an assistant to Othmar Karas in Brussels, MP for the Vorarlberg state parliament and also the city council and later Vice Mayor of Dornbirn. WKV President Karlheinz Kopf emphasizes Fässler's extensive professional and political experiences, which will be of great importance for his future role.Under Fässler's management, a focus is on the further development of the service and educational offers of the WKV and the expansion of cooperation with the Wisto location agency. The Vorarlberg Chamber of Commerce represents over 540,000 member companies and aims to represent the interests of Austrian companies. Fässler's diverse experiences in both business and politics could prove to be decisive for the future development of the WKV. From November 1, 2023, he will head the business of the Chamber of Commerce and thus take on a key role in representing and promoting the interests of domestic companies.
