On May 26, 2025, the 68th district fire brigade performance competition took place in Grafenschachen, Burgenland, to which 65 competition groups started with around 370 participants. The aim of the competition was to complete the fire -fighting attack quickly and flawlessly. The event was organized by the Grafenschachen volunteer fire brigade and received support from the local sports club and the community. The participants were able to look forward to the best conditions and a comradely atmosphere. Among the guests were district commander Wolfgang Kinelly, district captain Peter Bubik and State Councilor Leonhard Schneemann.
In the regular classification, the Grafenschachen fire brigade won and was able to triumph both in the bronze A and silver A category. The fastest competition team, however, was the Jabing fire brigade, who also won first place in the parallel competition of the fastest teams.
