Bavaria shattered Auckland with 10: 0 - Musiala shines!
In an impressive performance, FC Bayern Munich started the club world championship on June 15, 2025 with a spectacular 10-0 victory against Auckland City. The coach Vincent Kompany had already expected little praise for their own team in the run -up to the game, but had the chance to see his players shiny. Among the starting eleven players were newcomers Jonathan Tah and Thomas Müller, while Konrad Laimer took a seat on the bench.
The game was one -sided and reminded more of a friendly than a competition game. Auckland turned out to be no serious challenge, and so Bavaria was able to take command quickly. Kingsley Coman opened the goal series in the 6th minute, which laid the foundation stone for an unprecedented offensive game.
Tordetails and player change
The first round was characterized by other goals. Sacha Boey met in the 18th minute, followed by Michael Olise, who came to a conclusion in both the 20th and in the stoppage time of the first half (45th+3 minute). Coman scored another goal in the 21st minute, and finally Thomas Müller scored in the 45th minute before he was replaced at half -time. Coman also left the field for the break.
In the second section, Auckland keeper Conor Tracey was challenged and prevented additional goals with several parades. But Jamal Musiala took over the scepter from the 68th minute and scored three goals (68th, 73rd - penalty, 84th minute). Thomas Müller crowned his performance with another goal in the 89th minute. David Yoo awarded the best chance for Auckland on an honor goal in the 69th minute.
performance of veterans and outlook
The season was particularly relevant for Müller and Coman, since both players had recently become more difficult at Bavaria. Coman almost faced a departure in front of the last transfer window, while Müller had to give up his role as an indispensable starter and increasingly received missions from the bank. At the press conference, Kompany praised the two veterans for their influence on the team, especially in critical moments, such as against SC Freiburg, where they stabilized the team.
Next became known, Bayern Munich will meet the Boca Juniors on Saturday at 3:00 a.m., while Auckland will have to compete against Benfica Lisbon on Friday at 6:00 p.m. The Kompany team is in shape this season and is optimistic about the upcoming challenges.
