The viewing platform at the Immendorf district ditch facility shines in new splendor! Exactly 20 years ago, the Wullersdorfer History Association in cooperation with scientists and the market town of Wullersdorf launched this impressive building. The initiative was created under the passionate management of the late club chairman Johann Six, who died in 2015. This platform enables visitors to look at the fascinating remains of the former district ditch facility and creates historical access to the past.
Mayor Richard Hogl has now added another highlight: A new, detailed overview table shows in 3D how the facility could have looked at the time. This vivid detail not only delights the chairman of the history association, Klaus Ernst, but also the mayor Annemarie Maurer, like Nön.at reported. This measure serves the better understanding of the historical site and enhances the entire attraction.
In the past two decades, the region has become more and more a place that not only promotes historical knowledge, but also an awareness of the importance of biodiversity.
