When Marcel and Jasmin separated, it became known that the two had a long-distance relationship for several months after the court week. The distance of 300 kilometers may have played a role in their decision. Although both participants expressed great feelings for each other during the reunion show with presenter Inka Bause, the show's official Instagram channel confirmed the separation with the words: "Unfortunately, it didn't work out in the end."
