In Thailand, a 24-year-old Russian tourist died after a tragic incident at the popular viewpoint Lad Koh. According to the authorities, Kamilla Beryatskaya was hit by a large wave and moved into the sea.

On Friday, Beryatskaya was last seen by witnesses when she was sitting on a yoga mat on the coast. Suddenly she was hit by a strong wave and could no longer hold herself. Witnesses reported that it was visible in the water for about 15 minutes before it finally disappeared.

A male foreign tourist jumped into the waves to help Beryatskaya, but unfortunately could not save them. Her body was discovered on a beach the next day, around one kilometer from the Lad Koh viewpoint.
