In less than three weeks, Vienna Rathausplatz turns back into a culinary paradise of Styria! From March 26 to 30, 2025, Styrian Tourism and Local Marketing GmbH expects up to 150,000 visitors in cooperation with eleven adventure regions. The event, known as Styria spring, is all about culinary delights this time, and this as early as never before. This year a new cooking studio with renowned Styrian star chefs such as Heinz Reitbauer and Johann Lafer will be shown live on the main stage. In addition, a digital menu ensures that the guests know exactly where to find the delicious Steirkaskrapfen and the popular baking. According to Michael Holidays, managing director of the STG, the culinary delight plays a central role in keeping the festival alive. The anticipation is great, as the celebrations will begin for the first time this year on Wednesday evening. Governor Mario Kunasek and Mayor Michael Ludwig will open the event on Thursday, March 27th, at 11 a.m. Kunasek is particularly looking forward to the 1,450 hosts from Styria, who fill this festival with life. In the previous 25 editions of Styria spring, over 3.2 million guests have already found their way to Vienna to enjoy the culinary delights and the Styrian culture.
