Hamrock Festival breaks records: 6000 euros for the good thing!
Hambergen, Deutschland - A sensational success for the Hamrock Festival in Hambergen! So many money has never been left before - a proud 6000 euros! "The high visitor, spacious sponsors and the active support of 70 helpers contributed to this," explains Volker Saß from the festival team. The money comes from a benefit concert that was celebrated as the "largest garden party in the region". Two rock bands heated up the visitors, while the Rebel Monster unfortunately had to cancel at short notice. But the atmosphere remained undisturbed, because the bands Muirsheen Darkin and Friends and Black Sheep Burning played longer than planned!
The happy recipients
Six clubs can look forward to 1000 euros each! The donations were ceremoniously handed over in the town hall, with the mayor Gerd Brauns and Hamberg Mayor Frauke Schünemann welcomed the club representatives. The Förderverein primary school in Hambergen plans to organize a hands-on circus for the children with the money. The Mauberwald support association will also benefit from the donation to strengthen the collaboration between kindergartens. The DLRG can now realize a summer camp for children in Hanover, while HTC Hambergen wants to promote activities between young and old, possibly through the popular sport pickleball.
In addition, FC Hambergen will use the funds for youth work to buy materials such as balls and even a bouncy castle. The MTV Lübberstedt has similar plans and wants to finance devices for club work. Henning Müller from the Hamrockverein thanked everyone involved, without whom this festival would not have been possible. Another Highlight is already in the starting blocks: In the coming year, a wine festival will take place again on the museum facility, the proceeds of which will also benefit a good cause!
