On Tuesday, October 22nd, 2024, a fatal traffic accident occurred on Kirschgartenweg in Worms at around 4:30 p.m. A 51-year-old driver from Offstein was racing with two other passengers in his vehicle when the accident happened. Apparently the speed was not appropriate, causing the driver to lose control and go off the right side of the road!
The impact was violent! The car crashed into a tree that was on the side of the road. The consequences? Difficult to bear! All three vehicle occupants suffered injuries, some of them serious, but were able to escape from the vehicle on their own. The emergency services were immediately alerted and took the injured to the hospital in Worms. The dramatic scenes also required the deployment of the professional fire brigade, which ensured that the accident site was cordoned off.
