Himmelpfort, Brandenburg, Deutschland - In Germany, the anticipation for Christmas is already noticeable! Around three weeks before Christmas Eve, the Christmas post branches have already received tens of thousands of letters from children. At eight magical addresses, hardworking helpers are waiting to answer the wishes of Nikolaus, Christ child and Santa Claus. The last post offices open their doors on December 5, including the Nikolauspostamt in St. Nikolaus in the picturesque in Saarland.
A particularly large number of letters reach the Nikolausdorf in Lower Saxony, while Santa Claus in Himmelsthür and in the Brandenburg Himmelpfort is waiting for the wish list. In Himmelport, Santa even created a “solar ship” from the German Post two weeks ago! By the first Advent, over 60,000 letters have already arrived there - from Germany and 45 other countries. The letters are often true works of art - loving drawings, handicraft stars and reindeer made of paper show the creativity of the small senders. The most popular Christkind address in Germany is located in Engelskirchen near Cologne, where almost 150,000 desired letters from over 50 countries have been received. There are also other Christkind branches in sky gates and sky city that are waiting for the wishes of the children.
If you want an answer from the heavenly beings, you should not hesitate too long to send your letter. And very important: don't forget the sender! The Christmas season is the time of wishes and the postal offices are ready to delight the hearts of the children!
