Sound discoveries: Experience Latin American music in Lübeck!

A top-class musical festival awaits the people of Lübeck on December 5th, 2024! The talented violinist Carlos Johnson, first concertmaster of the Philharmonic Orchestra of the Hanseatic City of Lübeck, and the award-winning pianist Bertan Balli bring Latin American sounds to Haus Eden. From 7:30 p.m. the audience will be taken into a world full of rhythms and melodies that will make the heart beat faster!

The program of the 3rd chamber concert promises a real fireworks display of musical highlights! In addition to the well-known masterpieces by Piazzolla, Villa-Lobos and Ginastera, rare treasures from Carlos Johnson's home country, Peru, are also presented. A special highlight is “Capricho Peruano” by José Carlos Campos, which will enchant listeners with the unique sounds of the Inca pentatonic tonal system. An exclusive work by Uruguayan bandoneon player Luis Di Matteo, composed specifically for Johnson, will also be performed. The musical journey takes you through Argentina, Brazil, Mexico and Venezuela and promises an unforgettable experience!
