In the run -up to Christmas, the Voitsberg district again shows a big heart. Pupils from three schools took part in the "Reversed Advent calendar" campaign, which is organized by Caritas. In this initiative, the children collected durable food and hygiene items, which were packed in lovingly decorated boxes. A total of 52 packers were distributed to 27 families with children in the district in order to bring them a piece of Christmas joy, reports Meinzirk.at.
The Caritas regional coordinator Sabine Spari emphasized: "So we hope that a little Christmas will be felt for everyone." In addition to the Caritas campaign, the Team Austria Tafel also put together food packages for needy families in the Voitsberg district this year, as reported by the Kleinezeitung.at.
