On June 8, 2025, there was a serious traffic accident in Linz-Land, in which a 50-year-old Romanian woman and her three-year-old grandson were injured. The incident occurred at around 5:50 p.m. on the L563, in the Rapperswinkel area within the municipality of Ansfelden. For an unknown reason, the vehicle driven by the two accident victims left the road, overturned and ended up on its roof. First responders were quickly on the scene and were able to free both injured people from the car.

After initial treatment, the injured were immediately transported to the Kepler University Hospital. The exact extent of the injuries remains undetermined at this time, but the incident is another tragic example of the dangers of road traffic.
