On February 13, 2025, the ceremonial handover of a new armory (RLF-A 2000) took place in Steygg, which was now put into service after three years of planning. The 18 -ton vehicle, which is equipped with a 2400 liter water tank and modern hydraulic rescue equipment, replaces the RLF in use for 33 years, which has now been retired. Mayor Gerhard Hintringer and numerous fire brigade officials were among the guests of honor who celebrated the successful purchase and thanked the municipality of Steyregg for their financial support, as FIREWORLD.AT reported.

The new armory scream not only comes with a powerful water tank, but also with two diving pumps, an emergency power unit and LED round lighting. These highlights enable the Steyregg volunteer fire brigade to be well prepared for various emergencies. The technical equipment will be of great importance, particularly in the event of traffic accidents, since it offers the emergency services extensive support.
