Fire brigade in action

The Biedermannsdorf Volunteer Fire Department mobilized a team of 39 members with eight vehicles. The intervention was intensive: a respiratory protection team immediately penetrated the garage entrance into the basement, while a second team with another extinguishing line prevented the fire from spreading to upper floors. Thanks to their rapid response, the firefighters were able to quickly bring the fire under control and clear the burning areas. The Laxenburg volunteer fire brigade came in to support with additional forces, and several pressurized aerators were used to exhaust the smoke from the building.

In another worrying situation that took place nearby, a homeowner in Kleinmürbisch, Burgenland, had to intervene in the fight against the flames on the same day.
