Moscow-On Thursday, the air traffic controllers lost contact with a Type-24 passenger aircraft, which promoted around 50 people in Far Eastern Russia. The regional governor announced that a comprehensive search was initiated.

The local disaster protection ministry reported that the aircraft, which is operated by the Airline Angara based in Siberia, disappeared from the radar screens while approaching its destination Tynda. Tynda is a city in the Amur region that borders China.
