North Korea and Russia: New military alliance ensures alarm!
Pyongyang, Nordkorea - The tensions in world politics increase! North Korea's leader Kim Jong Un has met with the Russian Minister of Natural Resources, Alexander Kozlov. This happened in the middle of growing concern in western capitals about the in -depth relationships between Pyongyang and Moscow. The two statesmen met at the headquarters of the Koreas workers' party, where Kim expressed gratitude for the increased bilateral solidarity and cooperation.
This encounter took place as part of the 11th meeting of the intergovernmental committee for cooperation in trade, business, science and technology. The official North Korean news agency KCNA reported that Kim emphasized the importance of the recently ratified defense agreement between North Korea and Russia. This contract, which was ratified by the Russian Duma on November 6, obliges both countries to support themselves militarily in the event of aggression - with all the necessary means!
military support and strategic partnership
Military cooperation is already in full swing: over 10,000 North Korean soldiers support Russia in the Ukraine conflict and have already participated in fighting in the Kursk region. This development was referred to by NATO boss Mark Rutte as a "significant escalation" and "dangerous expansion" of the conflict. In addition, South Korea's Defense Minister Kim Yong-Hyun warns that North Korea could very likely request progressive nuclear technology from Moscow.
After meeting Kozlov, Kim called for more intensive and diversified cooperation in the areas of trade, business, science and technology. He explained that relationships between Russia and North Korea had achieved a "new strategic level". In the meantime, a delegation from the Russian General Staff Military Academy arrived in Pyongyang, while a delegation of the Pyongyang city parliament left to Russia. However, the exact goals of these delegations remain unclear.
