North Korea sends 10,000 soldiers to Russia: is there a threat of World War III?
Alarm mood at the front!
Over 10,000 North Korean soldiers have arrived in Russia, ready to support the offensive against Ukraine! This explosive development was confirmed by South Korea's Defense Ministry and could dramatically change the dynamics of the war. The troops are primarily stationed in the contested Kursk region, where tensions between Russia and Ukraine continue to rise.
North Korean troops in action
The reports of the arrival of North Korean soldiers are alarming. According to the Pentagon, troops are already active in combat zones, raising the possibility of a third state in the conflict. President Volodymyr Zelensky has called on Western allies to respond quickly, while Ukrainian forces have already reported initial attacks on North Korean soldiers.
“We see an increase in North Korean forces, but unfortunately no increase in the response from our partners,” Zelensky said on a social network. Ukrainian intelligence reports about 12,000 North Korean soldiers, including 500 officers and three generals, who are receiving military training in Russia.
Danger of escalation
The warnings from Kiev and the West are unmistakable: North Korean soldiers could soon be fighting directly against Ukraine. US Pentagon spokesman Pat Ryder stressed that these troops would become legitimate military targets if hostilities broke out. “All indications are that they will provide some sort of combat or support capability,” Ryder added.
The situation is further aggravated by concerns about possible military reciprocation from Russia to North Korea. South Korean and EU officials expressed deep concern about possible transfers of nuclear or ballistic technology to North Korea. These developments could destabilize not only Ukraine, but the entire region!
