New Year's resolutions: amusement parks for an unforgettable family year!

In the new year, many people make up for New Year's resolutions, including the intention to spend more time with the family. A good way for this can be visiting amusement parks. Sächsische.de compared four amusement parks in Saxony and illuminated their annual ticket offers.

Comparison of the amusement park annual cards

A newly opened amusement park is the Karl's adventure village in Döbeln, which has been working on 17 hectares on the A14 since March 2022. Entry to the villages is free, but an admission price is required for some attractions. The annual ticket costs 49.90 euros, while children under the age of 2 or a height of 90 cm have admission free of charge. Day tickets can be converted into annual tickets on site, which costs an upgrade of 35 euros. The annual ticket applies to Döbeln and other locations such as Rövershagen and Warnsdorf. The attractions include the chocolate slingshot and the tractor railway. In addition, owners receive discounts on drinks and overnight stays in Karl's villages.

The Sonnenlandpark in Lichtenau combines leisure and wildlife park with up to 50 attractions in summer. The annual ticket there costs 95 euros, a season ticket from mid -March to early November 65 euros. The attractions contained include the chain carousel, the Ferris wheel and the indoor playground, while some attractions and parking spaces are chargeable. Here, too, annual ticket owners benefit from discounts in other amusement parks, such as about 10% in the Plohn amusement park and 25% with Belantis.

Oskarshausen in Freital comes up with over 50 attractions, although entry is fundamentally free of charge, but some activities cost 2-3 euros. The club card costs 39 euros and is valid for one year, with unlimited use of seven main attractions. In addition, there are some advantages, such as a one-time free entry to the 3D photo exhibition and discounts for partners.

Belantis in Leipzig is open all year round and offers various roller coasters and theater shows. The annual ticket starts at 59.90 euros for the season pass and ranges up to 99.90 euros for the season pass. The latter enables unlimited entry, two free tickets for friends and a beverage flat rate. Some rides are limited in this park.

Aside from these local offers, a comparison of different annual tickets in Europe shows that providers such as Walibi Belgium and Efteling also offer attractive seasonal passes. The Walibi Belgium Annual Pass costs 130 euros and is currently on sale for 91 euros by January 7, 2025. The Plopsa Park Pass is also an option for many leisure parking lovers. In particular, the discounts at partner parks are of great advantage for annual ticket holders, which indicates the extensive possibilities that offer amusement parks in 2025.
