Speyer Karate Talent Filip Gorny: Gold and Silver on an international stage!

The young karate artist Filip Gorny from Speyer caused a sensation on an international floor! In the renowned "Coup de Kayl" in Luxembourg, he was the only German participant in the "U9 Kata" category. He struggled with impressive performances through every round and secured first place - a triumphal moment for Gorny and his trainer, Alexandra Suita!

But that wasn't everything! Gorny showed again at the international “Banzai Cup” in Berlin, where 956 athletes from 23 nations fought for the medals. He confidently reached the final and gave everything for the gold medal win. After a gripping competition, however, he had to give up very narrowly and proudly received the silver medal. Another proof of his extraordinary talent!

The next challenge is already at the corner: This weekend Gorny will go on the mat together with his teammates Luisa Schaudig and Kathrina Schmidt, who compete in the "Kata Singles U14" category, as well as Sophia Schmidt in the "Kata Team" at the German Championship in Ludwigsburg. The expectations are high and preparations are in full swing! Gorny and his team are ready to write history again!
