Murder case Sara Sharif: Father and stepmother spoken guilty!
The cruel truth about the murder of little Sara Sharif: her father and stepmother condemned!
The shattering story of Sara Sharif, an innocent 10-year-old girl who was brutally murdered in her own home in Great Britain, put the nation into a shock state. The cruel details of their abuse and the terrible death have broken the hearts of many people.
On Wednesday, the 43-year-old father Urfan Sharif and his 30-year-old stepmother Beinash Batool were found guilty by a jury at Old Bailey in London that he had murdered Sara on August 8, 2023. The evidence presented during the ten -week process was shook and showed the years of torture that the child had to suffer.
The terrible circumstances of Sara's death
The police found Sara Lebeless under a ceiling in a bunk bed in her home in Woking, Surrey, about 36 kilometers from London. In addition to their body, the investigators discovered a handwritten note in which Urfan Sharif admitted to killed his daughter by beating. "It wasn't my intention to kill her, but I did it too much," he said in a call to the police.
The autopsy showed that Sara had suffered at least 71 external injuries and over 100 internal and external injuries. The cruel details of the abuse included burns, bite wounds and numerous broken bones. A forensic doctor found that the injuries were inflicted over a longer period of time and indicated repeated physical abuse.
The last months of Sara's life were shaped by fear and pain. She was taken from St. Mary’s Primary School in Woking and should be taught at home. Her school friends reported on the many blue spots she had. "She said she had fallen off the bike, but I knew it better," recalled a friend.
The escape and arrest of the suspects
The day before Sara's death, Urfan, Batool and her uncle Faisal Malik traveled to Pakistan with five other siblings. But the escape was not permanent. After an international search for the search, the three were arrested on September 13, 2023 when they returned to Great Britain. Just seven minutes after landing, the police arrested at Gatwick Airport.
The investigation revealed that the family was submerged in Pakistan while the police searched feverishly for them. During the search of her house, the officials found a cricket racket with Sara's blood and other evidence that pointed out the cruel treatment of the girl. Despite the overwhelming evidence, the suspects initially advocated "not guilty".
But the truth could not be denied. On November 13, 2024, Urfan finally took responsibility for the death of his daughter and confessed that he had hit her with a cricket racket. "I didn't want to hurt her," he said, while the shock waves of his confession went through the country.
Sara's biological mother, Olga Domin, who returned to Poland after her daughter's death, has expressed her grief about the loss of her "beautiful daughter". "Sara had beautiful brown eyes and an angelic voice," she said in an emotional homage.
The conviction of Urfan Sharif and Beinash Batool is expected on December 17, 2023. The nation is eagerly awaiting the judgment and hoping that justice is finally made for the little girl who had to endure so much suffering.
