Hörzendorf, Österreich - On March 29, 2025, an impressive honorary event took place in the home community of the CHURCHOCH Wolfgang Puck in Hörzendorf. The culinary superstar, born in Sankt Veit an der Glan, was honored with a festive unveiling of the signage of his name on the forecourt of the local elementary school. Family, friends and companions from Puck contributed to this special celebration.

Governor Peter Kaiser presented Puck the Great Golden Medal of the State of Carinthia and praised his "unbearable hard work" and his significant contribution to the culinary known in the region. Wolfgang Puck currently employs over 5,000 people in around 80 restaurants in the USA and a total of 100 worldwide, which underlines its international importance.
