Nordhausen.In a remarkable success, the Europa-Service Nordthüringen has managed to improve the skilled worker situation in the region. More than 20 young foreigners have already been successfully placed in Thuringian companies this year. Clear proof of the positive impact of this initiative!
The project, which has existed for over a decade, linked international talents with local employers and is supported by the Free State of Thuringia. Cooperation with countries such as Vietnam, Morocco, Georgia, Northern Macedonia and Albania were created. These international connections open up new opportunities - especially for companies that are desperately looking for specialists!
Vietnamese talents in care
A highlight this year is the start of a training initiative in the South Harz Clinic, where a group of young Vietnamese is trained as nurses. The eight participants - among them NGoc Nhi and Tan Anh - started their trip to Germany to start their healthcare career here. At the same time, talented migrants from Morocco take the opportunity to work as an electronics technician in companies such as electrical assembly ends in Nohra, while high school graduates from Georgia successfully find training positions in nursing, office management or hotel beings.
With the help of a placement agency, the European service also brought engineers and IT specialists from northern Macedonia to Thuringia. ESN project manager Corina Kieber emphasizes the growing demand not only in large, but also for small companies that are increasingly relying on foreign talents. This practice not only promotes the economy, but also the integration of the new employees into society!
